The Nordonia Schools Foundation was chartered in 1995 by a group of community members whose goal was to launch an organization that enhanced life-long learning in the Nordonia Hills community. Although encouraged by the Nordonia Hills Board of Education, administrators, and staff, the Foundation is completely independent of the Nordonia Hills City Schools Board of Education.
The Board of Trustees includes Nordonia alumni, past educators, local business owners, community members, and school liaisons.
The Board employs an Executive Director who is charged with increasing the Foundation’s resources; the present Executive Director is Jolynn McFerren.
The Nordonia Schools Foundation is a group of volunteers including Nordonia alumni, business owners, and community members, committed to the success of the Nordonia Hills City School District. We believe students, faculty, staff, and the community benefit when we place value on education and maintain strong schools.
